Purposeful Parenting: Letting Go of Control Without Fear
Do you find yourself having the same battles with your child over and over? Can’t seem to broker a lasting peace in your family?
We are pleased to start a parenting skills psychoeducation group workshop called Purposeful Parenting: Letting Go of Control Without Fear.
In this 4-session series, you will learn more about your current parenting style and purposeful ways to use that style to meet your family's needs and goals. We will collaboratively discuss strategies to increase your and your kids' self confidence through sharing control. In addition, we will explore ways to reframe mistakes as life lessons and provide choices to your kids to increase their self-efficacy. Each 90-minute session will provide time to learn new techniques and discuss how you might implement them in your own family. Together, we will learn to parent without fear!
